Green Texas Cichlids, scientifically known as Herichthys carpintis, originate from northern Mexico. They share similarities with H. cyanoguttatus, characterized by larger, blotch-like spots. While slightly less aggressive than H. cyanoguttatus, they still possess the ability to dominate a tank.
